| Message from Owner/Operator, Derrick M. Muñoz: I founded Celebrations Entertainment on the principal of providing one-on-one, customized entertainment to clients ensuring that each and every event is exciting, enjoyable and stress-free, whether a wedding, anniversary party, birthday party or corporate event. After all, the point of any event is to celebrate and have a great time. I have personally been in the music and entertainment industry for 18 years starting out in theater and moving into  made-for-TV dramas and major motion pictures. Some
of the movies I worked on include Heathers, Karen
Carpenter Story, and Cujo. Then, I began an
entertainment company called Silent Reaction
Entertainment where I trained modeling and dance. This
company and my services were highly sought after by
companies such as Liz Claiborne and Disney.After Silent Reaction Entertainment, I became immersed in the music industry, working with Michael Jackson on Captain EO at Disneyland and the Dirty Dancing Concert at the Greek Theater. It was during that time that I was introduced to Karaoke. People were flocking to Karaoke bars to sing their hearts out with passion. From the beginning, I have heard many karaoke singers who should have been professional. At that point I knew I wanted to spring into the musical entertainment industry, providing both DJ and Karaoke entertainment to the public. From that point on, I worked private parties, weddings and other special events. Due to my professionalism, experience and reputation, I have successfully fulfilled the musical expectations of all my clients, often going above and beyond for them. In addition, if I have a vacancy I have filled in for many different DJ’s and KJ’s alike when they were unable to attend their events due to double booking, vacations, or last minute emergencies. In my current capacity running Celebrations Entertainment, it is my mission and my pleasure to provide people with entertainment according to their own individual preferences and desires, whether they want a formal wedding reception or want to be a star or a ham in the Karaoke atmosphere. Celebrations Entertainment takes pride in its Wedding Ceremony and Reception Entertainment expertise. I take the time to meet with the bride and groom on TWO separate occasions to focus on the "Who, What, When and Where" behind the bride and groom’s reception. The why, of course, is to make it spectacular, memorable and stress-free so they can focus on what is really important: marrying the love of their life! Specifically, I concentrate on creating a picture for how they want the musical entertainment, reception organization, and emceeing to flow on their special day. This includes preparation and organization of the music for the reception and/or ceremony and information necessary to properly emcee the event.
